SmartProTech project, empowering digital manufacturing – launched!
UAB "Baltec CNC Technologies" together with partners – Engineering and Technology Industries Association of Lithuania (LINPRA), Vilnius Vocational College of Technology and Engineering (TECHIN), Pannon Business Network Association (PBN) and Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute for Sustainable Technologies (Lukasiewicz RN – INST) – is proud to announce the launch of the SmartProTech: Integrating Smart Digital Technologies into Production Processes project.
SmartProTech aims to upskill the manufacturing workforce by developing and implementing an innovative training program that covers key Industry 4.0 technologies. The program will focus on the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), smart manufacturing technologies, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and collaborative robotics. Each module is designed to combine online learning, extended reality, and hands-on training, delivering both theoretical insights and practical skills.
75 participants from Lithuania, Hungary, and Poland will gain expertise in IoT applications, MES operations, smart sensor systems, PLC programming, and human-robot collaboration through immersive simulation tools and real-world case studies.
The project runs from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, and has a total budget of €200,000. It is financed by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). For further details on EIT Manufacturing, please visit the EIT webpage.
